MARKING THE MOMENT BEFORE EVERYTHING SHIFTS

Maternity PHOTOGRAPHY IN CLEVELAND & NORTHEAST OHIO

No pressure. No POSING LESSONS NEEDED. Just You.

Come as you are

The waiting. The version of you that exists right now, right before you become somebody's mom, or somebody's mom again. This body is growing a whole person. That's worth celebrating.

Maternity sessions are designed to feel slow, comfortable, and unhurried. You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to feel 100% confident in front of the camera. You just need to show up as you are.

I'll handle the rest.

SHE BROUGHT MY SHY DAUGHTER OUT OF HER SHELL.

—Stephanie

I cannot explain how easy Mackenzie was to work with. She understood my vision and did everything in her power to bring it to life. My toddlers felt comfortable with her from the very beginning, and she brought my shy daughter out of her shell. I can't wait to work with her again.

YOU SHOW UP.
I'LL HANDLE THE REST.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks — when your belly is well defined and you're still feeling relatively comfortable and mobile. That said, timing is flexible and we'll choose what works best for you.

Before your session we'll connect for a planning call to talk through location, timing, and what to wear. Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at my natural light studio in downtown Cleveland.

On session day I'll guide you through everything. There's no expectation to know what to do. Partners and older children are always welcome.

About two weeks after your session we'll meet for your reveal appointment — in person or over Zoom — where you'll see your images large and in order for the first time. We'll figure out together what belongs on your walls and what goes in an album.

SEE THE FULL EXPERIENCE

There's something very real about touching a photo and sparking a story. We all have memories of dinners at Grandma's house, where the talk turned to old times and the photo albums came out. Was that your dad as a kid in a genuinely questionable outfit? It sure was.

Somewhere along the way we stopped doing that. The prints went digital, and we lost a tactile way to remember.

That's exactly why every session includes a reveal appointment where we figure out together what gets printed for your walls and what goes in an album your kids can pull off the shelf someday.

YOUR INVESTMENT

Every maternity session begins with a creative fee of $400, which covers your planning call, the session itself, and expert editing. Collections start at $1,100 and include tangible artwork and digital images. The total minimum investment is $1,500.

Most families invest between $1,500 and $3,000 once they've seen their images and built out their collection.

Collections are chosen at your reveal appointment, and nothing beyond the creative fee is due until then. I'll never push you toward something that doesn't fit, but I'd rather you go in with real numbers than be caught off guard.

AN ABSOLUTE DREAM TO WORK with.

—Vanessa

She listened to our vision and worked with us to bring it to life. She easily connected with our kiddos and quickly turned our prints and video around for printing and Christmas cards. We've worked with her several times now, and each has been amazing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Most clients schedule between 28 and 34 weeks, when the belly is well defined and movement is still comfortable. That said, this is a guideline not a rule — we'll choose timing based on how you're feeling and what works best for you. I'd recommend reaching out to reserve your date by your second trimester so we have plenty of time to plan.

In your home or at my natural light studio in downtown Cleveland. We'll figure out what makes the most sense for your family during our planning call.

Yes, always. Partners and older children are welcome and we'll plan the flow of the session so it feels easy and natural for everyone involved.

We'll cover this in detail during your planning call. I'll either pull options from my client closet or handpick pieces for you to consider — whatever works best for your family. The short version: soft neutrals, nothing too busy, and clothing that feels like you.
