You download the files, tell yourself you’ll print them soon, and then life moves on.As a full-service photographer in Cleveland, my process looks different.

Full-service photography means I’m involved from the beginning of the process through the end — and the end isn’t a download link. It’s something you can hold in your hands and live with in your home. More than that, it means you’re taken care of at every step. You don’t have to figure anything out alone.

What Is Full-Service Photography?

Full-service photography is a guided experience from your first inquiry through the moment your artwork is hanging on your wall. It’s the difference between hiring someone to take pictures and working with someone who handles the whole thing — planning, the session itself, editing, and helping you decide what to do with your images afterward.

For families and newborns especially, that guidance matters. Getting photos you’ll actually love involves a lot of decisions. A full-service photographer makes sure you don’t have to navigate any of them alone.

What Happens Before a Cleveland Full-Service Photography Portrait Session

Before we ever get to the session itself, we talk through the details that actually affect how your images look and feel: where we’re shooting, what everyone’s wearing, what time of day works best for the location, and what you’re hoping to walk away with.

Most families have never thought about half of this before their first session. That’s not a problem — it’s part of what I handle. We work together on wardrobe, talk through location options based on your family’s vibe and where you live, and make sure nothing catches you off guard the morning of.

That pre-session planning is where a lot of the care lives. By the time you show up, we’ve handled everything. You just have to be there.

What the Session Is Actually Like

Sessions run about 60 minutes. Whether we’re at your home, my natural light studio, or an outdoor location in Cleveland, we move through the space rather than staying in one spot. That’s what gives your gallery variety and makes the whole thing feel less like a photoshoot.

I’m not directing you into a pose and asking everyone to smile on three. I’m watching what happens naturally — a kid who takes off running, two siblings who forget I’m there, a parent who finally relaxes — and that’s what I’m shooting.

After your session, I edit every image by hand before we meet for your image reveal.

What Happens at a Reveal Appointment?

Here’s the thing about receiving 75 images in your inbox: it sounds great until you’re staring at them trying to figure out which ones to print, what size, for which wall, in which room. Decision paralysis is real, and it’s the main reason most family photos never make it off a hard drive.

The reveal appointment is where the full-service experience becomes most obvious. We meet for about an hour, either at your home or virtually. You see your images for the first time and we go through them together. I help you figure out what belongs on your wall, what fits the space you have, and what you’ll actually want to look at ten years from now.

I don’t hand you a folder and wish you good luck. I walk you through every decision, and you leave with a real order placed — something you can hold in your hands and live with in your home.

The products I offer are all professional quality, printed through labs I trust. Every option is designed to be lived with, not stored.

Framed wall art comes ready to hang in a range of sizes. Everything arrives ready to go on your wall.

Fine art prints are loose prints on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White archival paper, available with or without a deckled edge. The kind of paper that looks like something, not like a printout.

Matted prints come ready to frame or sit on a shelf. A good option for someone who wants flexibility in how they display.

Fine art albums have a lay-flat design in a range of sizes and cover colors. The kind of thing that gets pulled off the shelf regularly, not stored in a box.

Glass museum box is a handcrafted display box with a glass lid — matted prints housed inside, meant to sit on a coffee table or shelf. The image on top is visible through the glass. It works especially well for newborn sessions, where the intimacy of the images fits the intimacy of the format.

Who Is Full-Service Photography For?

If you want to hire a photographer, get a gallery link, and handle everything from there yourself — that’s something we can talk about. Digital files are available. But they’re not the end goal of how I work, and if you’re looking for someone to hand you a folder and call it done, there are photographers better suited to that than me.
