LET'S DO IT!
Extended family sessions aren’t about perfection. They’re about presence.
Your parents. Your kids. Maybe a grandparent or two. Familiar faces, new chapters, and the people who shaped your family—all in one place, for this moment in time.
These photos aren’t just for today. They become the images your kids grow up seeing in their grandparents’ homes. The ones that end up framed, passed down, and pulled out years from now when someone says, “Remember when we all got together?”
The sessions themselves are intentionally relaxed and connection-driven, with plenty of guidance so no one feels awkward or unsure of what to do. There’s no pressure to perform, pose perfectly, or keep everyone “in line.”
I’ll guide the flow. You bring the people who matter.
— MARA
"As a mom, I never get pictures of just me and the kids. Mackenzie's photos truly feel like someone was just watching us play and got pictures of me and my kids that you can just ‘feel.’”
I hear this all the time. And yes, we’ll get that photo.
But extended family sessions are about more than lining everyone up and hoping for the best. They’re about the in-between moments: cousins laughing together, grandparents with their grown kids, quiet connections you don’t notice until later.
You’ll walk away with images that feel meaningful—not stiff or forced—and that tell the fuller story of your whole family.

“With 4 kids now and one with special needs, picture day can
hold some anxiety with hope that the person behind the camera can capture the true essence of your family. Mackenzie did that and so much more! She has a calm and fun energy about her, and was so great with all my littles! Some of my favorites are the candid ones that literally made me laugh and cry! She is a gem and a true master at what she does!”

“She was able to get these adorable photos of my kids talking
to each other and holding hands. There’s one in particular where
I’m belly laughing that is one of my favorites. It’s not one I
would ever think I’d love, but it captured this beautiful
moment of my family being so happy.”
