My approach to school photography brings the artistic vision of luxury portraiture into the school setting.

Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I provide a custom boutique experience to my families while also providing my schools with a smooth, simple process. I only take on a handful of schools per year so that I can deliver the absolute best customer service and high-end images.

Fine art school photography allows kids to really be themselves so I can capture the unique personality of each child in front of my camera. No awkward poses, no forced smiles, no busy backgrounds, just your kiddos as they are. This method results in timeless portraits that are a far cry from the traditional school portraits we’re all used to.

How does it work?

Other than the actual picture day, the process is entirely online. Families receive a link to password-protected online ordering galleries set up by class, grade, homeroom, advisory, or whatever grouping which makes sense for each school. I will also take faculty and staff photos, and deliver a class composite depending on each school’s needs. Schools have the option of choosing a white, black or gray background for portraits.

Each child will be provided 2-5 images in both color and black and white to provide more options and add to the boutique experience. In addition to more traditional package options, I also provide high-quality print and product options like canvases, framed prints and digital images which are emailed directly to the family via email. Prior to photo day, a detailed “how-to” PDF will be provided to each school outlining ordering procedures and day of preparation for families.

Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the family within four weeks of picture day. I will handle any questions from parents and families about ordering, prints and products.

I will provide all equipment and any personnel needed for photo day.

I provide the school with all high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, school/district websites, school advertising, IDs, etc.

How many students can you accomodate?

I can accommodate schools as small as 20 children to schools with as many as 200.

How much does it cost?

There is absolutely no cost to the school, and parents pay nothing up front. My rates are competitive and all profits are made from ordering after parents have seen their child’s images. I offer a variety of package options and a la carte prints, products and digital downloads to fit everyone’s needs and budgets.
